Former Education Minister Mahabir Pun Proposes Sushila Karki as Next President

Kathmandu. Former Education Minister and recently elected Member of Parliament Mahabir Pun has proposed interim government chief Sushila Karki as the next President. Issuing a video message on social media platform Facebook on Sunday, he publicly stated his view that Karki would be suitable for nomination as President.

Pun put forward this proposal in the context of the recently concluded House of Representatives election counting and the National Independent Party gaining a significant number of votes. He stated that Karki should be brought in for the post that will become vacant after the current President's term ends.
