Aaren Rai Elected to House of Representatives from Khotang Under Labor Culture Party

Khotang. Aaren Rai, from Sumde in Ward-1 of Kailashgadh Rural Municipality here, has been elected to the House of Representatives from Khotang. Rai, 29, who is also the Central General Secretary of the Labor Culture Party, secured 16,612 votes.

He resigned from his position as the Supreme Assembly Member and Head of the Economic Department of the Mongol National Organization Party in the year 2080 BS to join the Labor Culture Party. Rai is also known as an identity-based leader. Having been involved in various organizations and social work from a young age, Rai entered open politics and has committed to formulating policies that benefit the grassroots people and amplifying their voices in the House of Representatives.
