CPN-UML Secures Nine Seats in House of Representatives Direct Elections

Kathmandu. According to the final results of the direct elections for the House of Representatives, the CPN (UML) has emerged victorious in nine constituencies across the country. Data published by the Election Commission shows that UML candidates secured 9 out of 165 seats in the direct contest.

Mohammad Istiyak Rai of the UML secured victory in Banke Constituency No. 2 by obtaining 24,628 votes.
