Rastriya Swatantra Party Achieves Historic Victory in Direct Elections, Securing 125 Seats

Kathmandu. According to the final results of the House of Representatives elections, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has registered a historic success in direct elections, winning seats in 125 constituencies across the country. RSP, which emerged as the largest party in direct elections, also secured a significant number of votes in the proportional representation category.

The final results from the Election Commission show that the Nepali Congress is in second place with 18 seats, while CPN-UML won 8 seats. Similarly, CPN (Maoist Centre) won 7 seats, the Shram Sanskriti Party won 3 seats, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) won 1 seat. Independent candidate Mahabir Pun was victorious from Myagdi-1.
