Fake Bhutanese refugee case: Former Home Minister Khand arrested, Brought to District Police Range

KATHMANDU, May 10: Police arrested Congress leader and former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand in the fake Bhutanese refugee case on Wednesday morning. In the case of making Nepali citizens into Bhutanese refugees and sending them to America, Khand was arrested based on the statements of those arrested earlier, informed Shyamlal Gyawali, the chief AIG of the Valley Police Office.

Khand has been brought to the District Police Range Kathmandu for investigation. Khand was arrested from his residence at Chuchchepati.
