Lawmaker draws govt's attention to 'mistreatment' of UML Chair Oli

Kathmandu, 26 April (2023) - Chief Whip of the main opposition CPN (UML), Padam Giri, has drawn the attention of the government to the 'mistreatment' meted out to UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his visit to Bhadrapur, Jhapa.

Speaking in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, he expressed his concerns about the incident wherein he said some groups of people made uproars and tried to hurl stones at Oli on his way to Budhabare to address an event.
