True, Mustang is beautiful, but it lacks a lot

The trans-Himalayan region’s raw beauty still captivates travellers, but poor roads, mismanagement, and poor hospitality reveal a region struggling to meet its tourism potential.

Everyone who has visited Mustang describes it as enigmatic, majestic, and dreamlike. My recent four-day trip evoked the same emotions, but my critical consciousness has noted more than beauty.
