KATHMANDU: AUGUST 16 – Taudaha is on the way to Dakshinkali, 7 km from Kathmandu. ‘Tau’ means snake or serpent and ‘Dah’ means pond or place where snakes live. Taudaha is also one of the largest natural lakes in the valley.
It is spread over an area of about 100 ropanis . The beauty of Taudaha, which could not be discussed even though it is close to the capital, has now increased. It is also one of the most visited destinations in the valley.
