UN Adopts Resolution on International Day of Health Proposed by Nepal

Kathmandu. The United Nations has passed a resolution regarding the International Day of Health based on Nepal's proposal. The General Assembly passed the resolution today. Now, this day will be observed every year on April 15 in various countries around the world.

According to Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, the resolution states that health signifies not just the absence of disease, but overall well-being encompassing physical, mental, social, cultural, emotional, and environmental aspects.
