On Friday, Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase teased that a new phone in the Realme GT Neo 2 series will be released shortly, adding that it would have a fresh design. Soon after the formal announcement, a famous tipster stated that the Realme GT Neo 2T was the smartphone with model number RMX3357 that had been found on TENAA last month, and referred to a fresh MIIT listing of the same phone, along with some information of differences from the previous edition.

Meanwhile, two well-known tipsters have published the details of the forthcoming phone on social media sites, saying it would be called the Realme GT Neo 2T. On Weibo, Digital Chat Station said that a Realme smartphone with the model number RMX3357 had gained CMIIT certification and would be known as the Realme GT Neo 2T.
