Kanchanpur road projects are running behind schedule

Contractors cite funds crunch while stakeholders point to contractors’ negligence for delays.
The construction work of the Daiji-Lipna road in Bedkot Municipality, Kanchanpur, started three-and-a-half years ago but only 55 percent of the work has been completed so far. The road construction was to be completed within two years of the contract agreement.
