Trial production of viral transport medium (VTM) kit needed for test of COVID-19 has started in Nepal.
Everest Parenterals Pvt Ltd of Bara has started trial production of VTM kits. Senior pharmacist with the company Bibek Singh Mahat told Setopati that the Department of Drug Administration has been informed after trial production succeeded and the kits have been sent elsewhere for third-party trials.
