Constitutional bench formed to conduct hearing on HoR dissolution

KATHMANDU, June 6: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has formed a constitutional bench on the basis of seniority to conduct hearing on the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR).

The constitutional bench now comprises CJ Rana, and senior justices Dipak Kumar Karki, Mira Khadka, Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada and Dr Anand Mohan Bhattarai. Although justice Hari Krishna Karki is third in seniority among the SC judges, he is not included in the bench as his presence in the bench was questioned earlier.
