CPN standing committee meeting starts amidst tight security

Standing committee meeting of ruling CPN has started at the party's central office in Dhumbarahi amidst tight security on Sunday.

CPN Chairman and Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli, who opposed the meeting claiming it has been called without any agenda, has not attended the meeting. A party source said Oli has not attended the meeting citing threat of coronavirus infection as the meeting hall is small.
