NC’s Hangam wins in Meringden; Maoist Center’s Labung in Faktanglung

TAPLEJUNG: Dambar Hangam from Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected as the chairperson of Meringden Rural Municipality in Taplejung district.
He secured 2,869 votes to win the election to the post while his close contender Kedar Jung Chongwang from CPN-UML got 2,770 votes.
