Regulatory Commission to Hear Dispute Over Dedicated and Trunk Line Electricity Tariffs on Chaitra 1

A hearing regarding the disputed dedicated and trunk line tariff controversy is scheduled to take place at the Electricity Regulatory Commission on the upcoming Chaitra 1. The Commission has announced that it will hear the case concerning Panchakanya Plastic Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Panchakanya Steel on that day.

There is a provision for appealing to the court if one is dissatisfied with the decision made by the Commission following the initial hearing on the disputed tariffs. Some industrialists had approached the Commission after disagreeing with the tariffs set by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
