Biswo Poudel, seen as governor frontrunner, quits selection panel

Following the stalled appointment of Gunakar Bhatta, Nepali Congress is likely to name Paudel for governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Bisho Poudel, a member of the Governor Recommendation Committee and former vice-chair of the National Planning Commission, has resigned from the committee.
