Trump Suggests Russia May Be Aiding Iran Amid West Asia Tensions

Washington D.C. Amid ongoing conflicts in West Asia, US President Donald Trump has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia might be providing 'some extent' of assistance to Iran. In an interview with Fox News, Trump acknowledged the fact that the US is also assisting the Ukrainian military against Russia, and suggested that Russia might also be helping Iran.

According to some US media outlets, Russia is sharing information about US military locations in West Asia with Iran, which could help make Iranian missile and drone attacks more precise. However, the US Special Envoy for West Asia, Steve Witkoff, claimed that the Russian government has assured them that it is not providing any such intelligence information to Iran.
