In fact, by citing the numbers of the infected and the dead, the prime minister finally seemed to have acknowledged the severity of the Covid-19 crisis in the country. A major survival instinct citizens have developed under Oli’s leadership is to stop expecting anything from the prime minister that helps to make their lives better.
