Two Arrested in Connection with Vandalism, Robbery, and Arson at Hyatt Regency Casino in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Police have arrested two individuals accused of vandalizing the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Boudha, Kathmandu, and subsequently looting and setting fire to the Pride Casino operating within the hotel premises. A special team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu, apprehended Kuladhwaj Lama and Rakesh Lama from Kavre in the Boudha area, where they were allegedly involved in the incident.

Police successfully took the main accused of the violent incident, which occurred on Bhadra 24, 2082 BS, into custody on Sunday during the search operation. Those arrested have been identified as 37-year-old Kuladhwaj Lama, alias 'Kule,' a permanent resident of Roshi Rural Municipality-4, Kavrepalanchok, currently residing in Boudha, and 37-year-old Rakesh Lama, alias 'Korean,' from Temal Rural Municipality-8, Kavre.
