Western Low-Pressure System Affecting Nepal's Weather Forecast

Kathmandu. The Department of Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently under the influence of a western low-pressure system. Due to this influence, the hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with Koshi and Bagmati provinces, are generally experiencing cloudy conditions.

This afternoon, the mountainous regions of the country will generally be cloudy, while the remaining hilly and Terai regions will have partial cloud cover. There is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the mountainous regions of the remaining areas, along with snowfall.
