Curfew hour extended till 1:00 this afternoon in Birgunj

Birgunj (Parsa), Jan 6: The District Administration Office, Parsa, has extended the curfew order from 8:00 am to 1:00 this afternoon. On Monday, the DAO had issued the curfew order from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am this morning in the Birgunj Metropolitan City Area.

Chief District Officer of Parsa, Bhola Dahal, said that attempts are on to resolve the disputes. It is noted that the curfew order was issued to maintain law and order in view of potential conflicts between the two ethnic communities.
