Iran says no final decision made on deal that Trump hopes could be signed soon

Tehran says key parts of the draft are complete but insists no final agreement has been approved, despite Trump’s claim a deal could be signed within days.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday said the United States and Iran could sign a peace deal as soon as this weekend that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz to shipping, but Iran countered that it had not reached a final decision on an agreement.
