Ten thousand tree saplings planted in Sunsari

ITAHARI, July 23: Ten thousand tree saplings have been planted in Sunsari on Thursday. Commemorating the 43rd memorial day of Puspalal Shrestha, Nepal's communist founder, National Youth Federation (NYF) organized the district-wide tree saplings plantation function.

According to Arun Gurung, the district chairperson of NYF, all local units of NYF were engaged in the plantation drive all around the district. He said barren public lands and areas with scant forest were main venues for tree sapling plantation.
