Landslides and Floods Disrupt Traffic on Major Highways

Kathmandu. Traffic services have been affected due to floods and landslides on various major highways of the country. According to the details of the Nepal Police, many road sections in Bagmati, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces are completely blocked.

Landslides have blocked roads in various districts of Bagmati Province. The Prithvi Highway is completely blocked due to a landslide at Krishna Bhir in Benighat Rorang-7, Dhading. Similarly, only one lane is operational for small vehicles at Parewa Bhir in Gajuri-2, Dhading, while roads at Jhyadukhola and Kamere Bhir are open only one-way.
