Despite alarming reports on Nepal’s vulnerability to the climate crisis, the lack of political commitment is deeply concerning, according to experts.

In February 2021, Nepal government signed a multi-million dollar agreement with the World Bank’s Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF), through which Nepal can potentially access up to $45 million by 2025 to mitigate its emissions.
