Narayan Gopal Memorial Award presented to Tara Devi and Rasik

KATHMANDU: The Narayan Gopal Music Trust has announced that this year’s ‘Narayan Gopal Memorial Award’ will be bestowed upon Tara Devi, renowned as “Nightingale of Nepal” , and the prolific writer and singer Ganesh Rasik.

During a meeting chaired by the Trust’s Chairperson, Usha Sherchan, it was decided to honor Tara Devi posthumously for her remarkable contributions to the music industry spanning five decades. Rasik, recognized for his dedication to music and literature for around six decades, will also be honored.
