Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Today, Krishna Janmashtami, the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, is being observed across the country with various religious and cultural programs.

On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, devotees have thronged the famous Krishna temple in Patan, Lalitpur since morning for worship and darshan. Devotees are standing in long queues at the temple premises to have darshan and worship Lord Krishna. Devotees have reached the temple chanting bhajans and remembering the name of Lord Krishna.
