Government relaxes licence renewal rule for pandemic-hit recruitment agencies

732 recruitment agencies will benefit from the decision. As per the rule, an agency must send at least 100 workers abroad every year for two consecutive years for licence renewal.

Several hundred recruiting agencies that hire and supply Nepali workers overseas have survived the prospect of losing their operating licences for failing to send a stipulated number of workers.
