Rescued girl passes away

PAANCHTHAR, June 18: A nine-year-old girl who was rescued alive after falling into a landslide in Falelung Rural Municipality-3 of Paanchthar has died.

Local residents had rescued Juna Sawaden, who was buried in her grandfather Mana Prasad Rai's house at Falelung-3 Kholaghari, alive on Sunday morning. Juna died during treatment at Paanchthar Hospital, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Khatiwada.
