Women voters outnumber men in Sainamaina

BY OUR CORRESPONDENT, Sainamaina, Nov. 22: The number of women voters was found to be higher than men ones in all of the 12 polling stations of the Sainamaina Municipality. Of the total 3,500 votes cast, 2,000 were women and 1,500 men. The local leaders of political parties said that the number of women was higher because more men missed their vote as most of them were out of country for employment. In a polling station set up at Sainamaina Secondary School, 2900 voters voted, out of which 1700 were women voters.
