World Glacier Day Observed Globally Amid Concerns Over Rapid Melting

Kathmandu. Today is World Glacier Day. This day began to be observed last year at the call of the United Nations. This day is celebrated every year on March 20 with the objective of increasing global awareness about the importance and conservation of glaciers.
