Afghanistan, Pakistan announce temporary ceasefire during Eid al-Fitr

KABUL, March 20: Afghanistan and Pakistan have announced the suspension of military operations during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, officials from both countries said on Wednesday.

Afghan government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said in a post on social media platform X on Wednesday evening that the Afghan government has suspended its military operations against Pakistan during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
