UML Kirtipur recommends Surendra Manandhar as mayoral candidate

Kathmandu, November — The CPN (UML) has recommended Dr. Surendra Manandhar as the candidate for the mayoral position in Kirtipur Municipality for the upcoming by-election in December.

During a meeting of the UML Kirtipur Municipality Committee held on Friday, Dr. Manandhar was unanimously nominated as the candidate, as informed by Deepak Niraula, the chairman of the UML Kathmandu District Committee. Dr. Manandhar is also a central committee member of UML.
