Centuries-old Shivalinga found in Niglihawa pond

The Shivalinga is believed to date back to the medieval period, possibly the 16th or 17thcentury
A stone Shivalinga has been found in Niglihawa village in ward 9 of Kapilvastu Municipality. It was found while excavated soil from an old pond was being dumped in a nearby field.
