Rate of cases being closed in High Courts high, Supreme Court’s lowest

KATHMANDU, July 18: The Supreme Court and subordinate courts closed 50.36 percent of cases in one year. Among the Supreme Court, the High Court and the District Court, the rate of the High Court in concluding the cases is excellent, while the Supreme Court is found to be the weakest.

According to the annual report submitted by Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki to the President, 161 thousand 666 out of 325 thousand 702 cases were closed in the fiscal year 2078/079.
