Continuous Rain and Floods Disrupt Major Highways Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Due to continuous rain and floods and landslides across the country, various major highways have been obstructed. According to the latest details from the Nepal Police, traffic has been affected on roads connecting hilly districts from the main gateway to the valley.

The Kathmandu-Nagdhunga to Muglin road section has been completely closed since Bhadra 10 due to the potential risk of floods. This has almost halted traffic on the main gateway to and from the valley.
