Western Disturbance Influences Weather Across Nepal; Rain and Snow Expected in Mountainous Regions

Kathmandu. Currently, Western winds along with the partial influence of local winds are affecting Nepal.

According to the Department of Meteorology Forecasting, the hilly and mountainous regions across the country, including Koshi Province, are generally cloudy, while the remaining areas are partly cloudy. Moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and snowfall is occurring in one or two places in Koshi Province.
