Endowment Fund Established at Kalika Secondary School in Khotang

Khotang. An endowment fund worth five lakh rupees, the 'Mugadhan and Bhallshobha Memorial Endowment Fund,' has been established at Kalika Secondary School in Nerpa, Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-6. The fund was established by the family of the late Mugadhan and Bhallshobha Rai, including their 99-year-old son Karna Bahadur Rai, 87-year-old daughter Kumarikrishna Rai, and the families of their late sons Raj Bahadur and Bhuichal Bahadur Rai.

Bhogindra Rai, son of Kumarikrishna, informed that the interest generated from the principal amount will be used for the necessary operational work of the school. "The late Mugadhan and Bhallshobha Rai are a source of inspiration for our family. We, the family members, have established the endowment fund in their honor," he said. "One family member has been appointed as the custodian of the endowment fund. We have given the school the authority to use the interest from the principal amount for necessary operational work without depleting the principal."
