Monsoon-induced disaster: 3,180 houses inundated, 900 houses damaged, 91 killed 44 missing so far

KATHMANDU, August 29: A total of 3,180 houses have been inundated so far due to floods during the current monsoon season.
According to the Nepal Police headquarters, 153 cowsheds, 60 bridges, eight schools and 14 government offices including 900 houses have been damaged due to the landslide. A total of 1,087 animals have perished since mid-June.
