Film 'Kamala Miss' Premieres at Jay Nepal Hall

Kathmandu. The film 'Kamala Miss' premiered at Jay Nepal Hall. Film personalities, educationists, social figures, representatives of educational institutions, and media personnel were present at the premiere held on Tuesday evening. Everyone who watched the film praised the subject matter, presentation, and powerful message. The film 'Kamala Miss', inspired by the famous work 'Kohi Ki Barbad Hos' by litterateur and playwright Vijay Malla, is made with child psychology at its center. The film has presented the pain of a child's mind deprived of a mother's love and affection, the search for a mother, the positive change that comes in life after receiving love, and the struggles a woman faces in her life in a poignant and effective manner. Principals and teachers of special schools have stated that the film has presented child psychology, the intimate relationship between teachers and students, and the role of parents in a very sensitive manner. The film 'Kamala Miss', directed by senior artist Nir Shah, is also seen as a meaningful effort to connect literature, society, and education through film. The film features actors including director Nir Shah, Ramesh Budhathoki, Basana Timilsina, Shivam Saraf Chhetri, Aarav Dahal, Bhavana Magar, Krishna Murari Dhungel, Sushant Kumar Shrestha, Jayanta Regmi, Suresh Thapa, Rajan KC, Pranav Subedi (Bhola), and Sanjay Khadwada. The film, produced by the Vijay Malla family for the Vijay Malla Memorial Foundation, has Chaitanya Prakash Pradhan, Umesh Malla, Ramesh Babu Shrestha, and Ram Bhattarai as executive producers, and Pushkar Lama (Prem Bhomjan) as line producer. The film will be distributed nationwide by Apple Entertainment, Rich Entertainment, and FD Company. 'Kamala Miss' will be screened across the country from Friday, Shrawan 22.
