Facebook to pay creators up to $50,000 to use its live audio features: Report

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta (formerly known as Facebook), announced in July that the business wants to pay $1 billion to artists by the end of 2022. While not much was divulged at the time, owing to a new story published by The Information, we now have some insights about how the corporation expects to spend this money.
According to the referenced source, Meta-owned Facebook would pay up to $50,000 to authors who utilize the platform's Live Audio Rooms function. Audio Rooms is Meta's response to Clubhouse, a live audio app that took the globe by storm following its introduction. In addition, Meta's photo-sharing service Instagram offers up to $35,000 to creators who upload reels on the platform.
