Weather Division forecasts possibility of light rainfall and snowfall in some parts of the country

KATHMANDU, March 31: The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted partial to normal changes in the weather in some areas of the country this afternoon. The impact of westerly winds is likely to cause light rain, wind, and thunder in some places of the country, with some parts of the high hills and mountainous regions also likely to witness snowfall.

Currently, the weather in the Gandaki, Karnali, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces is cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the areas in the country is clear. However, later today, there is a possibility of sporadic rain in the Kathmandu Valley.
