Supreme Court Disposes of Over 16,000 Cases in Last Fiscal Year, Data Shows

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court disposed of 16,634 cases in the last fiscal year.

The total caseload, including cases carried over from the previous fiscal year, petitions, and reports, was 40,741, comprising 25,728 carried-over cases and 15,013 newly registered cases in the last fiscal year. The Supreme Court stated that 40.82 percent of these cases were settled.
