MCA-Nepal clarifies ‘confidential’ documents related to MCC do not exist

KATHMANDU: The Millennium Challenge Account Nepal Development Board (MCA-Nepal) has clarified there are no ‘confidential’ or ‘hidden’ documents related to the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Nepal Compact as indicated by few media reports of late.

MCA-Nepal, issuing a statement Tuesday and refuting the existence of confidential documents, said the organization as an extreme transparent entity circulated all documents of public importance through its website and other formal channels accessible to all. “Concealing any documents related to MCC Nepal Compact is against the values of transparency of MCA-Nepal,” the statement read.
