Bhaktapur Industrial and Tourism Festival kicks off

BHAKTAPUR, April 6: The Seventh Bhaktapur Industrial, Cultural, Tourism and Trade Festival has kicked off from today. The event is organised on the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2080 BS and the Bisket Jatra.

Bisket Jatra is Bhaktapur's indigenous cultural festival celebrated for eight nights and nine days in this ancient city. The festival is celebrated from New Year's Day onwards. This year, the Nepali New Year's Day falls on April 14.
