31 enforced disappeared during conflict come to family contacts

KATHMANDU, July 14: As many as 31 persons who were enforced disappeared during the decade-long civil unrest in Nepal have come to their families’ contacts. In course of its meeting with the families of conflict survivors to probe their complaints, the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) has found that the disappeared persons have come to their families’ contacts.
“At least 31 persons have come in to communications with their families. The disappeared were found to have assimilated in their families”, shared Commission’s Chairperson Yubaraj Subedi.
