348,000 doses from COVAX expected in July, but not enough for country scrambling for vaccines

Some 1.4 million people aged 65 and above are waiting to get their second dose. There is little progress on procurement despite officials saying they’re reaching out to all sources.

It was between March 7 and 15 that those above the age of 65 got the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine. But when they will get the second dose remains unclear even though the government has been scrambling to procure vaccines.
