Western Low-Pressure System and Local Winds Affecting Weather Across Nepal

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently under the influence of a western low-pressure system along with local winds. Due to this influence, most parts of the country are experiencing cloudy conditions.

This afternoon, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will generally remain cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms and snowfall in some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places in the remaining mountainous and hilly regions.
