Flood Relief Efforts Mobilize Across Nepal with Significant Contributions

Banke. A total of Rs 2,437,274 has been collected from Banke for the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund to aid in the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the severe flood in the Bhote Koshi River. According to the details received from the District Administration Office, Banke, this amount was collected and donated by various 21 organizations, schools, business establishments, and individuals.

Chief District Officer of Banke, Dil Kumar Tamang, stated that individuals and organizations from various sectors in Banke are providing assistance for the rescue and relief of citizens in distress. According to him, the Nepalgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry provided the largest contribution of Rs 601,001 from the district.
